Job Description

Karofi – Vietnam's No.1 water purifier brand – is rapidly expanding into international markets, especially Southeast Asia. In each country (Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand), Karofi has established a retail network and local teams with the goal of building a strong and professional distribution system.

We are currently looking for a Vietnamese Retail Manager to oversee our Southeast Asia operations – someone with strong retail experience, ready for frequent international travel, to lead retail operations, system expansion, and ensure excellent customer experience at every point of sale in line with Karofi’s brand standards.

 

1. Job Description

1.1. Implementing Business Expansion Strategies to International Markets

• Assist in planning and executing the opening of home appliance retail stores in international markets. Focus on Southeast Asian market in the immediate future (Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia…).

• Collaborate closely with the headquarters and local Retail Managers to ensure synchronized and consistent strategy implementation from the corporation to each country.

1.2. Market Research and Opening New Retail Locations

• Market Research: Analyze consumer demand, competitors, and market trends in each country to propose appropriate strategies.

• Site Selection and Planning: Assess potential locations for retail stores and work with design and construction teams to ensure a consistent brand experience in terms of display and customer engagement.

1.3. Developing Retail Channels and Driving Revenue Growth

• Develop promotional programs and marketing strategies tailored to the specific characteristics of the market, enhancing brand recognition and sales.

• Proactively seek new business opportunities and build relationships with strategic partners.

1.4. Reporting and Evaluating Business Performance

• Track KPIs for each store and provide periodic reports on operational performance and challenges to the leadership team.

Job Requirement

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related fields.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in retail management, including new store development. Preference for candidates with strong experience and deep knowledge in developing retail systems for international markets, especially in Southeast Asia.

• Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and staff training skills.

• Planning & Budgeting: Excellent strategic planning and budget management abilities.

• Business Analysis: Proficient in business analysis, market insights, and growth orientation.

• Communication: Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

• Languages: Fluent in English communication.

• Flexibility: Willing to travel frequently, work under high pressure, and adapt flexibly to various working conditions.
